I have always liked eyes, so much so that if I was ever going to get a tattoo, it would be centered around an eye. It isn't the "window to the soul" concept that is attractive, but if there were an observable body part that could "diagnose" a human the best, it would have to be the eyes, right? I also think there is some Pareidolia in paly also, as I do tend to see eyes everywhere, like this:

Do you know what it is?
It is my water bottle - yes, I am still drinking more water daily, which still isn't seeing much of a noticeable result, but perhaps I am feeling a little "clearer" and I think that the whites of my eyes are a little whiter - something that has concerned me for a while.
I like that picture though, as while it does look like an eye, it also has a certain amount of a "tech feel" to it, like a chip with information flowing into it. a window to the soulless in this usecase perhaps. But, this is the new world, one where engineered algorithms decide what we like, what we choose and how we live our lives, through subtle and not so subtle mechanisms.
Is it a better world?
Well, that depends on personal circumstances, as while the wealth gap is growing considerably, we have never seen so many extremely wealthy people and never to the extremes of wealth they currently enjoy, and it isn't just the inflation rate that has ballooned the figures, as the richest in the world have been outstripping the growth of the poorest for decades.

See that line in the middle? That is the median and it is important, because it shows how large the gap is between the top of the bottom 50% and the top of the top 50% - with a much larger gap. There is actually a larger gap between the top and bottom of the one percent, than between the bottom of the 1% and the bottom. That is incredible, is it not? But, these are the algorithms in play and, they aren't all engineered, well at least not by a mathematician, they just leverage it.
For a hypothetical instance, there is about a half quadrillion dollars worth of wealth in the world, which is 500 trillion. If it was distributed to all 8 billion people equally, each would get about 60,000 dollars.
Is that a lot?
Well for billions of people in the world, it is a massive amount, but to put it into perspective, Today Elon Musk is the technical richest, worth $283,000,000,000 (283 billion). What that means is that he alone accounts for the "60,000" of 4,716,666 people. That is the same even distribution allocation to everyone in New Zealand.
And, New Zealanders would be taking a massive wealth cut under this, as they are ranked about 6th in the world as the richest per capita for average wealth:

1. Switzerland
US$530,240
2. Australia
US$411,060
3. United States
US$403,970
4. Belgium
US$313,050
5. Norway
US$291,100
6. New Zealand
US$289,800
7. Canada
US$288,260
8. Denmark
US$286,710
9. Singapore
US$283,260
10. France
US$280,580
Feeling wealthy, or poor? This is the average, so assume there are a few people very much higher than the median and, many more well below to create these numbers. But, if everyone on earth was given the same starting point, how long would it be until it was highly uneven again?
How long until the algorithms of who we are kick into play and those who are good at supplying, attract those who are good at consuming what is supplied? How long until what is earned is invested in expansion activities, invested into generative mechanisms, used to own and rent out? How long until people are people and end up doing exactly what they have been programmed to do by genetics, to then create systematic tools that can automate and the process more effectively and efficiently to do it better? Some are programmed to make money, some are programmed to spend money and, this division matters in a world where wealth is directive, as it can be used to control more and more.
It is here that I think crypto is going to be challenged in the future, as no matter what tools are built and what opportunities arise, humans handle available resources differently, even if everyone gets the same education access. Even if we are all individuals, we are highly predictable in so many way as groups, which is why we are so easily manipulated at scale through these algorithmic suggestions. They can identify and group us in a general sense and then target with increased refinement until we are getting just what we want to consume, even though they always had an endgoal in mind - which is what makes them the most income.
Crypto doesn't change core human behaviors and a consumer mindset is unlikely to become an investor mindset any time soon. But over time, there is the possibility that as more people get involved and demonstrate capabilities, group dynamics change through social conformity practices. Just like how some groups encourage getting fit, while others encourage getting fat, financial behavior is going to be peer group affected also.
This is why the transparency and social layers of crypto are so important, because they give practical experience as well as peer group demonstration of possibility. The algorithms are uncovered and available to all, instead of like now, being coveted and leveraged by the few.
We are all "coded" prior to birth through our genetics, and then coded by our environment and experiences after birth. I guess life is finding a way to understand our own coding and find the best ways to exploit our strengths and weaknesses in order to get the results we are after. The challenge with the social animal practice of social proofing however is, just because everyone is doing it, it doesn't mean it is right for us, right now, or perhaps ever.
Just like our eyes, none of us are identical and therefore, the averages might not work for us. But, who's job is it to find what does?

There will always be rich and poor, bigger divide in percentile over years. If you gave a whole country an equal amount you would still have those who invest, gamblers, consumers.
The way we wired, region, economics makes us similar, some will be creative in growth, some roll the dice in trying, while others quite satisfied to follow the pack.
New wealth is normally genius invention, greater insight into navigating into riches.
Riches may not only lie within money, knowledge is wealth not quantifiable in science, physics etc., be richer in love of animal kingdom.
Going together develops a strength and bond, intuitively pushing new boundaries (also wired into our psyche), only time will tell whether it will help or fall short.
Another interesting read 😅thanks.
You are absolutely right - there are many kinds of wealth, but likely, it is a similar set of conditions at the personal level - where some value it, some gamble with it, some waste it. For instance, you mention animals - some treat their pets like a treasured member of the family, some ignore their pets, others abuse their pets. Rather than the love of the pet game, there will always be people who squander the opportunity.
I think that this is the most attractive part for me - the togetherness of it.
I hope so! Providing something interesting is one of my goals with writing - I think I fail many days, but that is part of the process :)
Not all modern ideas attract attention, new financial system created interest with endless possibilities.
Some days you sit with an idea it words run smoothly, then there are those days it feels like tooth extraction! 😀
I believe this has to deal with how we train ourselves or what we are addicted to or use to in other to derive our personal pleasure
"Impulse control" is something that I reckon is failing in society these days - people are encouraged to satisfy their every urge - at a price.
Where would you place a possible eye tattoo for yourself Taraz? The picture itself could be a great inspiration
I have searched on Google...well.... shall we look at the tattoo or at that guy's muscles lol
I am not sure I would go that bold! I am thinking something more stylized, probably black ink only :)
Surprising that Elon Musk is worth more than any Rothschild. Hmmn. How do we define wealth? In monetary value... or something else. My grandmother used to say as long as you have good health and peace of mind, you have everything. She was a pretty smart old granny. What good is billions of dollars and expensive estates if your health is shitty or on death's bed... or you are not happy.
Shitty health is even shittier when poor though, right? :D
But, one of the things that has changed in recent decades is, the rich seem to be taking better physical care of themselves.
Or the rich have access to medical resources that the common Joe does not. They do not get cancer as readily as the rest of us, and.... the elites have access to baby blood. LOL I tend to think they are allowed to tap into resources that you and I cannot. It is not about better care as it is who you are.
Oh! I know a tattoo stencil designer who is a true master at creating eyes to be tattooed on people's body. I bet if you see this one, you won't want to get any other tattoo but this one. ;o)
As for the rest of the content in your post, you can click on the picture to know my opinion about it. };)
That's an old pic :)
Oh! there is no problem with the pic being old. Nowadays you can submit it to the A.I. of Google and make it as colorful as you want before tattooing it on your forehead, arm, leg, below your navel, or wherever you wish. Hahahaha
You feel sad when you see poor people without home who cannot find anything to eat, dying due to storms and floods, most of which are caused by pollution and industries that increase development and power of richest. very sad situation
It is sad. Unfortunately, it isn't going to change unless we change it.
Crypto currency has made many people million, people like Elon musk.

Whether the earth is sand really depends on our individual level. Different interpretations for each person. That's the way to enjoy. It's a beautiful thing to say that the world's richest have been surpassing the growth of the poorest for decades.
i like your work, i thning in so much things of the life
What colour are the whites of your eyes? That seems concerning. I am sure you have seen a doctor. I sometimes don't go because I am afraid they will find something, but it is usually better to know.
You wrote so many interesting things, but I found my thoughts drifting back to this and wondering if you're okay. Probably. I hope so.
I like tatoo but not specifically about the eye,and concerning Elon musk who has a vast wealth is just as a result of him being a genius.so I totally think he is using his abilities to get more richer
Excellent post, and this part is critical. The tools and the knowledge are no longer restricted, everyone can access them. This means that, although the unconscious proclivities of human nature will continue to ensure the repetition of age-old patterns, there's an increased chance that more people will develop their own paths and build their own designs. This is the perspective that I choose to focus on.
I'm also fascinated by eyes, by the way. Thanks for this post!
You take really good pictures. I thought it was a chip at first.
Meanwhile, the world is really evolving and humans are adapting really fast. Prior to this age who knew what crypto is all about? Now its like every home practiccaly has one or two persons into crypto.
Humans are special and will handle whatever comes their way.
