  An easy and safe way to make vinegar at home from any fruit you want:<br /> <br /> - Fill a jar half way with fruit (I used pears here)<br /> <br /> - Fill the rest with water.<br /> <br /> - Leave it in an area where it doesn&#039;t receive direct light and the temperature isn&#039;t too high or too low.<br /> <br /> - Open it everyday to let air in and smell it. As long as the smell is pleasant you&#039;re doing well. If it isn&#039;t smelling fruit or vinegar-like (it could start to smell like fungus or rot), then you should take out some water and fruit, and add some fresh water and fruit.<br /> <br /> - At some point it will start to fizz and you can drink it as cider if you wish, it is delicious.
