Welcome to my live blog about Day 5 of SteemFest².
17:00 WET - A walk through the town part 2.
I started into the day with an extended breakfast together with @nanzo-scoop, @lukestokes and @kevinwong. We discussed for more than a hour the current problems of the steem platform, especially the current dilemma that honest curation is less profitable than vote buying/selling or SteemPower Leasing.
After the breakfast I took a taxi to the LX Factory.
I visited there the Art at Steemfest exhibition.
In front of the exhibition building the brother of SteemFest² organizer @roelandp served pancakes.
After one hour I left the LX factory and walked back to the city of lisbon, always near the river Tajo.
Today also the Volvo Ocean Race happened in Lisbon. The ships are now heading to Cape Town.
The waves created by the ships were impressive. Some people get a shower when the waves hit the port wall.
For lunch I‘d chosen a fast food take-away pizza, because I don‘t wanted to lose time while sitting and waiting in a restaurant.
I walked through the narrow streets to another well known viewpoint.
The viewpoint is called Miradouro de Santa Catarina. You have a nice view over the port facilities and the bridge, but not over the whole city. There is also the well-known Adamastor sculpture situated.
Near the Adamastor this little train can be used if one is to lazy to climb the hill with his own foots.
A final view at the castle. Good bye city of Lisbon - it was a pleasure to meet you.

No, I didn‘t. To be honest to make the picture of your daughters artwork was the only reason why I traveled to LX Factory, but it was not there. Only paintings at the wall. I‘m so sorry for your daughter. But maybe it was there yesterday.

Wow. @twinner, @kevinwong, and @lukestokes at the same table. The look on Lukes face says 1,000 words! All three of you whales are mentioned on my recently posted "world travel pro makes it to 500 followers" post I just did. It's just an overview of my 5 months here on steemit as minnow starting from scratch with a nice shout of appreciation to those who've helped make my blog worth doing. That includes the three of you guys.....all having breakfast together. What a trip! Great photos of the city and depiction of how the week has gone. Thanks for sharing and keeping us posted. Was für ein Wetter ihr in lisabon hattet und jede menge input und insperation und und und....., Gibts eigentlich schon einen Termin für Steemfest 3 ?
Ich denke mal, in einem Jahr ist SF3. Hoffen wir mal, dass es wieder in Europa ist.

Yes, it was nice again, but I‘m not so euphoric compared to Steemfest 1. Will write a post about it.

Oh, stimmt. Da war ja das Loch im Schuh. Muss gleich mal schauen. Es ist immer noch drin. Habe mir keine neuen Schuhe gekauft, habe ja schon neue daheim. In Lissabon war mir das zu nervig, damit wertvolle Zeit zu verschwenden. Außerdem bin ich gestern und vorgestern jeweils ca. 10-15 km durch die Stadt gelaufen, mit neuen Schuhen war mir die Gefahr, mir paar Blasen zu erlaufen einfach zu groß.

Yes, indeed. The hills, the trams, the bridge over the bay. Same #pattern :-)

Yes, weather was great today. But I had not got a sun-burn on my skin, although I was in the sun for 3-4 hours.
What a amazing city in Lisbon. You have nicely enjoyed here with steemfest2 ceremony. Great travel experience

Yes, the location was exquisite. I have not read in the Lisbon Travel Guide about this venue, so I had no idea.
Dam the last location looks so awesome @twinner and the desert looks very yummy but so do those pancakes.
Yes, i felt a little bit like in Jurassic Park, because the way to the venue was around 200 long and it was dark and only some small lamps at the ground were lightening. The dessert was very sweet.

Schöne Bilder und interessanter Bericht, da wäre ich auch gern dabei gewesen, vielleicht klappt es nächstes Jahr. Und Lissabon kommt auf meine Reiseliste.
