I spent the first 23 years of my life in Los Angeles, California. And yet my first time surfing was just a couple years ago in The Hague, Netherlands?! Crazy huh? 😅🙈 #throwback

can you really surf?
I wouldn’t say I’m good at it as I’m still in the learning phase 😅 can you?
I wish you success. :)
Thanks haha

Hey this is nice
I starting surfing when i was 10yeeas old.
You really take a long time before involvement ...
Oh wow! Yeah I wish I would have started at an earlier age. I quite enjoyed it!
Alright dear
Started to surf 1 year ago everyday. The best life style ever. You can adventure different spots, experience nature and fitness all in one magical sport. Check out my different surf spots on go pro blogs. Hopefully you can document your journeys too on steem it. Upvoted and followed :)
Thank you! Just followed you too :)
I guess for me right now it’s hard to find somewhere to surf on a constant basis when living in London, haha.
What are some of your favourite surf spots?
I use to live in London for 6 months, beautiful city when the sun is out. I did not surf then, it is possible to surf near London, though like you say hard on consistent basis. I had a look, you need to travel between 1 to 3 hours to surf . You could go on weekend or if you got time, make a journey out of it and wear a good steamer ahaha. Learn to read the swell forecasts so you only travel when it will be good surf ;). I travel 20 minutes everyday to my local beach Cronulla, check my recent go pro vids as they are both in cronulla. My favourite spot at the moment is Stanwell Park Beach, I have a blog and go pro video on this particular spot if your interested. I will be travelling to new spots on the south coast this winter :) @nudimar has a post on a carver skateboard. Its like surfing, you do not need a beach to learn ;) I bought one and its really cool.
Exactly. When the sun is out 😅😂
I’ll definitely try to go more often in the weekends when summer comes. The one thing about me which isn’t good for surfing is that i hate cold water. Takes me longer than most to get used to it haha
I’ll def check out your videos then! Thanks!
Wish I could be surfing right now :D
Just followed you :)
Do you surf often?
Surfing in the Hague! Who would have guessed? Cowabunga! : )
Yeah I know! 😅 it was quite funny because the guys at the surf shop were like “Californian? You must be good at surfing!”....sadly...it was my first time haha
Cool that you tried it! I'm to afraid of the big waves...
I haven’t gotten yet to the really big ones yet 😅 but I know what you mean
