Well, this is a rather short post, and one I hadn't intended on doing. Certainly, it's quite an odd change of tune for me, having to post a fraction of the word-count that I normally do. But as they say - there's a first time for everything. On this occasion, it also marks the first time that I'm doing "photo-editing". Take those quotations in heavy doses mind you, since it's quite a very primitive edit on a couple of photos.
For starters, let us all pray thanks to @doze, who's incredible artwork had not only helped to adorn Hive's first store for all that honey-licious 'swag', but is also creating a swath of lovely artwork to promote Hive in general. From wallpapers, to illustrations of Hive-branded energy drinks, or spontaneously spinning GIFS that I've sent to him at two o'clock in the morning. Continuing this trend, he's recently made some Hive-themed stickers, and this has a bounty of use on its own.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the meme in question. Poorly edited, cropped by yours truly, with more backstory to follow.
I don't know how one goes about this, but seriously, we need to see these stickers be embed into OpenHive.Chat, Discord, Telegram or elsewhere. Having been a calming Saturday thus far, as the clock ticks past midnight, I felt like being in a cheeky mood. Once I saw these bubbles, bad ideas started cropping up, and it instantly reminded me of old comics, highlighting the impact of a punch, smack, or kick through a piece of laminated paper. As a reader, it's made it easier for me to tangibly feel what it must be like to get hit in the face with by the Hulk.
But, I digress. In any case, my cheekiness got into play, and I remembered that old meme of Batman slapping Robin. Thus, after a quick Google-ing later, I've found it and have then uploaded it into Windows' Paint 3D. This is where I need to make a stern reminder - I've never edited a photo before. Well... I've cropped here, and added filters there. Primitive, and this is the furthest I've delved into this mysterious art. I could've used some of the free online applications available, but then I was reminded that I couldn't be bothered.

Early beginnings of dastardly ideas to come.
Anyway, 2 minutes playing around with the 'stickers' function later, I've now created my masterpiece. Nevertheless, something told me that it wasn't dastardly enough, so I'm now taking it one step further. I felt that it was important to express some of the struggles that us here on HIVE has suffered thus far, since our painful birth and split from Mother Steem. Here then, is the final result... A badly cropped photo, and poor background removal of the man, the legend himself - Justin Sun. As the God that he tried to be, a bit of Hive ought to ground him back to reality.
Hmm... That last sentence actually rhymed. That thumbnail photo was the labour of my "hard" work, and my first time properly "editing" a photo. Not sure if this is for me, but hey, I tried. Personally however, I'm over the Hive vs. Steem drama for now, especially given the more terrible things that are happening elsewhere in the world. For me, it's a neat way to cap-off a post-Saturday quarantine and chill, to learn and try something marginally new.

What I sent to Senpai Doze, and what came from it. As an F40 fanboy, this is just wonderful.
It's worth taking some time to say that I don't condone any harm or bullying against any other person, no matter who that person may be. Also, if this post suddenly becomes a viral sensation, I'd ask you fellow Hivers to celebrate in moderation, please. I'm nearly done with liquidating the rest of my STEEM, and what I don't want now is to see a chunk of my livelihood disappear, locked out in retaliation.
With that in mind, I bid you all a heartfelt goodbye for today, and a farewell to Saturday. The end of the weekend is nigh. I'll be sharing some of the material images down below, including the stickers from @doze himself. You can also check out his original post here to find out more. Whether you're an experienced, or newcomer to editing, feel free to have fun, and share what you've made.
Remember, primum non nocere, or 'do no harm'. But what's a bit of fun in it, eh? Also, note that all criticisms and/or mockery of my shoddy edits will be printed, and shall then be used promptly as toiler paper. Let's be nice to each other, otherwise I'd tell you to shove your complaints up your arse. Thank you :-)

Oh, neat! How's the app been working?
eheheh you did it! Awesome! 😉
Thanks for your kind words :)
Lol, yep! Had that rare spark of genius on my mind, so I thought, "Well, fuck it!" 😆
Well well, we get to see a hidden talent of yours. These are great and funny. 😆
The head is blending quite nicely with the body. I'd say you should do more of these. ;)
Is the Steem-Hive Drama still going on? I wonder what happened to the fund that was sent to Bittrex. Regardless, I'm glad I joined Hive instead of Steem and glad missed out on all the drama. It must have been frustrating.
It's definitely a good move for you to come into the Hive, instead of Steemit. I feel pretty sorry for those that joined over there instead, since as I last checked, it felt pretty dead there. Not a lot of engagement going around, which is rather sad. I haven't learnt or heard much of the drama since then though, which might be a good thing, since we've got other things around the world to pay attention to, like Covid-19, and the racial discrimination protests.
I still have no idea on what happened to those Bittrex funds, as the last update I've read on that was, that Bittrex's management is still thinking about whether to pay the funds back to those owners, or give it back to Steemit. Huge question marks going around.
I've enjoyed making this little post to demonstrate my cheekiness a bit, though I'm not sure if my editing skills are up to par yet 😄. I tried using a simple online tool to quickly and easily remove the background and make it transparent, but there's still a lot of residue around that. At least the stickers are transparent though, that made it a whole lot easier!
Cool first try !
I'm pretty proud of it, despite there being a lot of the background still there. For a first attempt, I'd say that's job well done, though a lot of it has to do with the fantastic stickers that was available 😁
