"Free Fall" is directed by Stephan Lecant. The film tells the story of the 36-year-old riot police Marc. He has a girlfriend and is about to be a father, but he can't help but fall in love with the handsome police colleague Kay. Marc is hard to decide between the familiar old world and the exciting new experience, and ultimately makes everything out of control. Marc is about to become a riot police. He and his girlfriend are looking forward to the birth of their children, and life seems to be smooth. During the training at the police academy, Marc met roommate Kay. Running and swimming together, Mark felt more comfortable than ever. When he spent more and more time with Kay, he finally realized the desire to empathize with same-sex love. When Kay applied to transfer to Marc’s police force, they found that the relationship was mutual. The advent of true love disrupts Marc's ease of life, and in the eyes of his family and his girlfriend, he becomes another person. Marc’s world is experiencing a vacuum, and he begins to experience the free fall of life.

The dark picture style reveals a little pessimism. It can also be seen from the indifference of the people around you. How bold it takes for Marc to make bold choices.
