It sickens me to see someone with a high amount of influence opting to destroy it rather than help it grow. I don't understand why Haejin feels the need to flag these users although there are exceptions such as "flag-haejin", "haejinthemule" and "stophaejinfund" who are essentially begging to be flagged.
However, I can't see a valid reason why users such as @lyndsaybowes @hendrix22 @themarkymark are being targeted so much by Haejin.
I love this platform and I still have hope one day its issues will be resolved one way or another, but it's a serious design flaw when one user can do so much damage through the use of multiple accounts to rob people of their hard-fought profits (regardless of whether or not they use bots).

That's what I said, I can't see "any" valid reasons why you and a few others have been flagged so aggressively by Haejin. Seems to me he tries cutting down anyone he sees is growing too tall too quickly, like a mafia boss.

I posted memes, according to @haejin that's why he's flagged all of my posts for the last 3 months, he waits until they are 7 days old before he flags so that no one can upvote them anymore. Lately they've been doing it to any of my 7 day old comments that had any payout on them too lol. Yep...memes!! Those terrible, terrible memes...!

@haejin, @berniesanders, It's really sad to see you guys throwing hissyfits with money that could change lives. $4000 will pay school fees for 120 people over here. Why not put aside one day and use it to upvote posts for an African charity like @reachout or global charity like @youarehope? A little constructive use of your VP won't kill you but will go a long way to redeeming your public image. Just saying.
When they flag, the money isn't gone, it gets spread out to every other post. It's not lost... Just re-distributed.
I know, but they could've at least used that time to help others. So many unappreciated writers here. Seems if you're not posting about a steem app or python or some random blockchain then you deserve >$1

But they are helping other users. The money they take away by flagging goes to ALL other voted users. I don't get your confusion.
Also, there are plenty of groups out there supporting content that is not steem related. See #steemstem for science content etc..

Only way to make sure a minnow gets anything is by manually upvoting them. This I believe is where our opinions differ.
My statements are not an opinion, it is just the math of the situation. You may not like the proportional distribution, but that does not detract from the fact that the flags in this case benefit everyone by taking money from large whales, and spreading it out to everyone else in the platform.
I came across a post where someone was being bullied by some whales for speaking against circle-voting and have now been massively downvoted for speaking against their actions. How does that benefit the reward pool?
Flagging is a two edged sword and until the rules are changed this site will continue to decline in value.
