I see your point about families and communities solving the addiction problem, but I think that is still how it is done.
From what I understand, joining an AA meeting is joining a community. The guys living in the transitional housing that @nobutsd runs are probably more like a family.
I see this blockchain tool as a way to make the family and community connections more effective. It certainly can't substitute for them.
You're right. Often the most important families are the families we choose. It's great that this technology might help people to do that.
