Portugal Postcard's - Azenhas do Mar

in #adventure6 years ago

Sometimes I feel like a tourist, snapping photos of every small village across @visitportugal shores. But then again, why not?

This has to be one of the most underrated little places in Portugal. Hidden on the West coast,  between miles of beach's and Serra de Sintra.  Not every day you see a small village just hanging on a cliff looking that good.

A viewpoint from which one can see the Sintra coastline. It has a stunning view of the cliffs looming over the  full majesty of the Atlantic Ocean, but is flanked by the picturesque scene of the little houses adorned with blue, almost as if sculpted into  the rock. In this idyllic setting the sea enters between the cliffs,  forming small natural pools. It is situated in the parish of Colares, 14 km from the historical center of Sintra.
