My own AI Sub

in #ai2 days ago (edited)

I tried to make the 5x claude sub work for a while, but I've noticed that if I wanna do proper research and utilize fable comfortably it is not going to cut it, unfortunately.

Doing research is something that's kind of the next stage currently for sites like scrobble.life and projects like holozing:wilds and :mmo, I've done a lot myself and implemented things but there's a limit as to what humans can do. Today I set out fable to do some research on scrobble.life "competitors", basically what they offer for subscriptions, what sets and metrics they offer to subscribers that others don't, where there's demand and where there isn't, what games we could add that are possible for us to create that fit our website, etc, and it honestly ran into the 5h limit within 10 minutes or so. Glad I was at the edge of my weekly being restarted else I would've had to wait a lot longer.

I'm going to be posting about some of the findings its done as it was quite effective regarding scrobble.life in a future post.

There's also been some people on Hive requesting audits of their projects which has added some token usage to my own subscription, but it hasn't been for naught as my Claude has been able to find security issues whereas theirs wasn't. Which brings to question how important it may be to have other users cross-check each others repos and AI generated works since your own AI may often choose the lazy approach of ignoring what it's built or not looking into it from a fresh perspective.

For those who've been curious what's been funded with the AI sub, I do have a post planned at the end of the month, roughly a month after funding started of the proposal. I'll linking to some repos that are already public in the post and linking to posts they may have created about what they've been working on as well as giving descriptions of the work they've been doing with the proposal funds. As stated in the original posts/comments I'll also be taking a fee this time for the work organizing this proposal and handling it and dare I say unfounded criticism that's come my way/the DHF in general due to general price sentiment. The fee will be 20% of funds already sent out on a monthly basis.

I hope however that people like the transparency of how this project has been maintained so far and that recipients will for the most part be able to show exactly what they've been doing with the funds. I hope this brings more value to Hive and that we can keep it going in the future and that more proposals are more open about costs and how the HBD is being spent.

I really appreciate the amount of transparency you have with both how you're using Claude and with the funds you've gotten both from the DHF and not.

I think some of the negativity around AI would be reduced if folks were just honest about how much they use it. (not all, cause like, the environmental impact is real and needs to be addressed.)

You will take a 20% regardless of funded projects and their results?

If after 1 month $1000 worth of subscriptions were funded, the fee is 20% of that. I expect the proposal funds to last quite a while as I've been quite strict about recipients to the point where some who requested the most expensive tier started out on the lesser one before we can verify their work.

Interesting how quick you were to read this post but seem to have no idea about what I've been building with claude, eh?
