I think my face is a pimples-magnet!!!
I had my first pimple mid-Secondary School and since then, the pimple-soldiers have been tracking me everywhere.
Most people categorize pimples as a reaction from hormonal changes like ovulation, menstruation and pregnancy. Some say they come as an outblow from intake of specific foods like groundnuts. I decided to be a pimple-detective at a point. I monitored my 'pimple-ity' and I realized it wasn't a reaction to food or hormones after all, it was just my body.
The tragic thing about my 'pimple-ity' was that my I couldn’t keep my fingers off my face. As a nail-chewer and a busybody, I could hardly do without doing something (especially with my hands). Hence, if I wasn’t sleeping or finger-busy, I usually found myself either chewing my nails or bursting pimples.
I was a TRAGIC-PIMPLE-BURSTER!!!
A few years later, Pimple-bursting became face-peeling, I was obsessed with my face. I would always touch my face and if I felt anything that wasn’t ‘smooothy’ or regular, I would scratch and peel it off. From pimples to scabs, I was always peeling and scratching off and that!!!, was how I got the many spots on my face.
My face-scratching got so chronic that very soon, I had my first expanding-face-pimple-wound. It was a swollen black spot on my face, a result of constantly peeling the scabs off with nail-files or sandpaper or razorblades.
Many times, resulting in bleeding.
My parents had to come to my rescue.
My Mum got me creams that helped with spots, Skineal became my friend but, as long as I kept scratching the spot, it kept expanding.
My parents would constantly yell at me to stop. One day, at Church, my Dad sent my brother to me with a message
“Tell your sister to stop touching her face”.
One Day,
I made a decision.
I Stopped!!!
And now, my expanding-face-pimple-wound is gone.
The scab is gone.
The black-spot is Gone.
Today, I felt an anomaly under my chin, I almost scratched it, but, NO!!!
I’m not going there again.

P. S: So, this is my life's story about my pimple-struggle.
I'm not against natural face spots. I just feel that there are ways to clear out spots that come from pimples and there are ways to avoid it too.
People have to always be careful with the use of creams though, to prevent bleaching or any unplanned reactions.
It's always important to see a medical personnel when treating these things.
