) Alex Jones, the alternative media spearhead of information, misinformation, weirdness, wrongness, rightness, and so many other adjectives that I don't feel like writing them down. Whether you agree or disagree with the man, his message, or his style you have to admit that he has, or rather should I say had, amassed quite a following on the major social media platforms. at the end of the first week in August, Alex Jones has had most of the content he created on all the major social media sites removed, completely deplatformed. The tech giants spoke of Alex Jones as though he was a crazed lunatic and flagged him for hate speech, which in and of itself is quite vague. Sure, Jones' rhetoric is weird, outlandish even, but to completely ban him from these sites is clearly a test case. He had millions of followers, BILLIONS of views, and they wiped him away as though he was nothing more than uninvited ant at a picnic. Sure, he's been the loudest, most vocal critic of globalism, the new world order, and dare I say "Lizard People" (whatever the hell that is) but it's not just about this man, which is what all the mainstream media seems to be touting, but the alternative media seems to be taking a different approach. They are backing the principle of free speech, clearly stating there disdain for the man but believing in his right to be able to say whatever the hell he wants to say, whether it is right, wrong, or weird as shit i.e. Lizard People. They call him a conspiracy theorist, sure some of what he spouts is clearly conspiracy theory, but that doesn't make him wrong. You can't tell me that Apple, Facebook, Google(YouTube), Spotify all on the same day came up with the same idea about the same guy, separately without discussing it with each other, or shall I dare say, "conspiring" to deplatform and ban this man and his message. That's bullshit. But here's the kicker, it wasn't just him!!! 
) Anti-Media 2Million Likes+follows has been shadow banned with their daily views going from 300,000 per day to 12,000 per week according to Ben Swan's latest Reality Check video. James Corbett of the CorbettReport.com points out the reality that everyone is making the assumption that Facebook and YouTube and Apple are such behemoths with a virtual Monopoly that the government should step in and protect the freedom of speech and not let these platforms dictate who can speak in "the public square". Let's be realistic, despite how big those companies are they are not too big to fail. We the people decide who and where we will spend our time and our data. That is why most of us are on Steemit I would guess. We know and understand our value. 
) As the culture war and information war continues to rage forward, with the Empire's latest shots, we must retaliate by simply maintaining a minimal if not complete shut off from Facebook and YouTube etc etc. Sure, for those of us who have a following on those platforms, we should ramp up the migration until the tech overlords crumble.
