Ramadan 2019 will begin on Monday, 6th May 2019 or (7 the may 2019) and end on Tuesday, 4th June 2019. Eid al Fitr 2019 will be on Wednesday, 5th June 2019. This is the tentative date as the actual date is contingent on the sighting of the moon of Ramadan 2019, the 9th month in the Islamic calendar (Hijri 1440). The length of the Month varies between 29 and 30 days depending on the sighting of the Shawwal Moon which leads to the awaited festival of Eid ul Fitr on the 1st of Shawwal.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT FASTING
When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of paradise are opened, the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained.
(Al-Bukhari 1898, Muslim 1079)Every Muslim must make intention before fajr to fast (for an obligatory fast). Intention is not uttered. It is determination in the mind and should not be done with audible wordings.
(Al Bukhari 1, Abu Dawood 2454)Fasting is NOT just abstaining from eating and drinking, it is also refraining from vain speech and foul language. If one is verbally abused, he should say 'I am fasting'
(Muslim 1151)Taking the pre-dawn meal (Sehri) is a BLESSING. Every Muslim is expected to take the meal EVEN if with a mouthful of water.
(Al Bukhari 1923, Ahmad 44)It is the Sunnah to DELAY the Sahuur and HASTEN to break the fast as soon as the sun sets.
(Al Bukhari 1921, Muslim 1099)If one hears the call to prayer WHILE still eating the Sehri , he should not stop eating, rather he should finish his food.
(Abu Dawud 2350)Whosoever does not give up speaking falsely and acting on lies and evil actions, Allah (swt) does not care for his abstaining from eating and drinking.
(Al Bukhari 1903)The Prophet of Allah used to break his fast BEFORE magrib prayer with 3 fresh dates, if there were no fresh dates, he would eat 3 dry dates, if there were no dry dates, he would take 3 draughts of water.
(Abu Dawud 2349)Whoever provides a fasting person something with which to break his fast, he will earn the same reward as the person without the person's reward being reduced.
(At-tirmidhi 807)It is PERMISSIBLE for a fasting person to bath or pour over his head to relief him of the hotness of the sun or of thirst.
(Abu dawud 2365)If somebody eats or drinks FORGETFULLY while fasting, he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk been given to him by Allah.
(Al Bukhari 1933, Muslim 1155)Zakaatul fitr is OBLIGATORY on every Muslim, old and young, slave and free, male and female.
One Sa'a (approx. 3kg) of food items should be given out before people go out for the 'Eid prayer.
(Al Bukhari 579/2, Muslim 2159)The Prophet of Allah never proceeded (for prayer) on the day of 'Eid ul fitr unless he had eaten some odd number of dates.
(Al Bukhari 73/2)We should put on our BEST garments and chant Adhkaar TO and FRO the Eid ground.
(Al Bukhari 88, 89, 102/2)On the day of Eid, the Prophet of Allah used to return (after offering the Eid prayer) through a way DIFFERENT from that by which he went.
(Al Bukhari 102/2).Whoever observes fast in Ramadan and also fasts for six days in Shawwal, the reward of a whole year fast is recorded for him.
(Muslim 2614/6)
-) Reminder ; dont judge others :
If Ramadhan is the only time someone:
!-)goes to the masjid,
!-)wears hijab,
!-)prays,
!-)stops smoking and drinking reads Quran etc then good for them.
Dont talk about them, dont call them fake muslims, dont call them that awful name " Ramadhan Muslims" to describe them because for all you know during that one month of the year they maybe 10 times more sincere and pious than you are all year round.Remember that arrogance was the reason for Iblees expulsion from Paradise!

Hi @animashaun
Welcome to the community. :0)
a post I found your post thanks to @vibesforlife, who featured your post in the comments section of by @swedishdragon.
As you probably know by now, SteemIt has set some very unfair rules for newcomers, which limit you in the number of posts and comments that you can make.
I checked your wallet, and noticed you had 15 Steem Power. The amount of Steem Power you have, determines how many Resource credits you have. (You use resource credits every time you post, comment or like something.) When you don't have a lot of Steem Power, you run out of Resource credits quite quickly, and then you can't post or comment, or even upvote a post - but I assume you already found out about that - until they have recharged.
You can keep an eye on your Resource Credits here:
http://steemd.com/@animashaun
At the top, you'll see this:
The blue bar is your Voting power - it decreases every time you upvote a post and recharges over time. It is recommended to keep your Voting Power above 80%, so it will recharge in 1 day.
The orange bar shows your Resource Credits. With every transaction you make (vote, comment, post), your Resource Credits will decrease. They will recharge, but that takes time.
If you scroll down a bit, you can see exactly what you can do with the Resource Credits you have left. At this moment, you can only make 2 more comments before you run out of RC. You'll have to wait until it recharges before you can make another comment.
I don't think it is fair to limit new users like that. After all, you're new, and there is such a whole lot to discover, of which the most important thing is the awesome community we have here. But to become a part of that community, to get to know people, you should be able to comment on other people's posts and engage with people.
So I'm always on the lookout for promising newcomers that could use a little help. So I delegated some of my Steem Power to you, to give you a chance to start your SteemIt adventure a little more freely - without having to run out of Resource Credits all the time.
Basically that means you will have a little more Steem Power, and as a result more Resource credits. This will allow you to be more active on the platform.
(You can find out more about Steem Power HERE).
If you check your Steemd page (https://steemd.com/@animashaun) now, you'll notice it says at the top you have 50 SP instead of only 15 SP, which means you can comment, reply, upvote and post a little more often.
Be sure to still keep an eye on that Resource Credits bar - it will still decrease, but you'll be able to do more before it reaches zero and you're locked out.
I hope this will help you to find your way on SteemIt, and to get to know all the awesome people that are hanging out here.
SteemIt has quite a steep learning curve in the beginning, but if you take it one step at a time, you'll be okay. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. you can leave a comment on one of my posts, or just tag me in any post or comment you make (@simplymike), and I will be notified and will try to help you out.
IMPORTANT: I will leave the delegation in place as long as you're active on SteemIt (i.e. publish original content regularly and engage with other people by commenting on their posts and replying to their comments) or gather enough Steem Power to get around on your own.
There's one other requirement: I'm looking for people who are showing that they plan to be on SteemIt long-term. So I'm asking you to power up your earnings (convert your liquid Steem and SBD into Steem Power) and not withdraw them.
It will also be a good idea to create a free Discord account (Discord is a chat app we Steemians use to communicate 'behind-the-scenes' of the platform. Many different communities have a server where you can chat and meet people without being limited by Resource Credits.)
You can create your Discord account here: https://discordapp.com
One of the communities there is called Steem Terminal. Steem Terminal is set up to help newcomers find their way around here. If you have any questions, they will be able to help you out too.
Once you've created your free Discord account, click the following invitation link: https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz
You will be redirected to a page that says 'thekittygirl invited you to join Steem-terminal'. Click the 'Accept Invite button' to get access to the server.
Once you have clicked that button, you have access to the server and can get an answer to your questions. The people that run the server will help you to find your way around and to get started.
I also have a post with useful tips for newcomers on my blog. Read New On SteemIt? Here’s What You Need To Know!
It contains links to sites and posts that will give you more information about how the Steem blockchain and SteemIt in particular works.
You can join contests to get a bigger delegation:
Enter Here.@thedarkhorse is running a weekly contest in which he delegates some of his Steen Power to new users. By entering, you can get your Steem Power up to 85SP, which will give you even more freedom to explore the platform.
Read it here@akomoajong is hosting one too.
Like I said, SteemIt might have a steep learning curve in the beginning, it is definitely worth it to push through and get to know the amazing community.
Remember, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. :0)
