You'll be disappointed. There's no fixing the system from within it. :( I know Ron Paul and some others have done a lot to further liberty, but they didn't do it as politicians. They did it by others watching how the system ignored the attempts to further liberty. Our system is designed to allow the occasional liberty lover to get elected without them being able to do much "damage" to the establishment. That's what happened to Ron Paul.

The lower level election you get however, the more potential for positive change. Even local level politicians though are stuck in a system controlled by an establishment. Even a local sheriff has to whore him or herself out to local oligarchs. The real solution therefore is to remove the system entirely and do that by walking away from it. Don't fight it. Simply walk away and ignore it.

I agree 100 percent. Im pulling a @adamkokesh just at a smaller level. Lol

His is a little weird because he could pull it off if enough people get pissed off and demand equal access to debates, etc.

Then once he's in, he dissolves the federal government. THAT works for me!

Good point, you can't fix a system that was meant to have people like Ron Paul give you the illusion of a political savior. Sure his values are great but like you said, theirs no fixing the system from within it. Liberty is simply the state giving people the permission to act on their own free so it's coming from a perspective that government is a legitimate entity.
