RE: We All Want To Change The World, We Just Don't Want To Change Our Social Conditioning

in #anarchism7 years ago

Great thoughts. We've been working hard to free ourselves from the dependence on the gov. We finally have a big garden, some livestock, a well, and we're earning crypto.

It's the most free I've ever felt, even though I make far less money than at my previous job. It's important for me to feel like I can survive. I don't want to rely on a system to babysit me.

The hardest part is dealing with friends and family who treat me like I'm a conspiracy theorist or a crazy prepper. It's sad to see how hard they have bought in. They truly believe some big corporation should be responsible for their survival.

Maybe something wont happen next year or anytime soon, but do you you really want to leave your well being in the hands of the state? But those are the ramblings of a crazy person. hahaha

I appreciate life and all the liberty I have, but I don't take it for granted. I continue to build it and work for it and I think that's important.

I'll look into Roger Ver's country. Fun idea.
I think there's a movement this direction. I also saw a Saudi Sheik offering a new city in the desert. And there has been talk of floating city somewhere near Denmark.

Cool ideas. I'm really excited to be sharing ideas, learning, and exploring in the blockchain. Decentralize it.

Thanks for the great read.

Sounds like you have the right idea growing food. I love growing food and building permaculture food forests.

It's an exciting time to be alive these days.

Are you going to SteemFest? If so, I look forward to meeting you there.

Hi @luzcypher. First, that's SO COOL you build permaculture food forests. Ren and I have talked about that and getting started is one of our goals next season.
I love the idea of plants all feeding each other and also kind of being hidden in plain sight.

I'm not going to SteemFest this year. Absolutely next year. Ren is going. I'll be here editing her videos as fast as possible and trying to keep great coverage on the event. She'll be really excited to meet you there.

...and yes, these are very interesting times. I'm really encouraged and excited about the blockchain space. I've dropped everything to be a part of it because I believe in the cause. It's our chance to make a difference.

I'll let Ren know to be on the lookout for you at Steemfest. She hits the ground in Lisbon tomorrow. (Sat)

Oh, that's right. I remember reading your post and video about her going. Cool. I look forward to meeting her.

I love food forests. Have built a few many years ago that are still doing great today and the little work they need now is just harvesting pretty much.

I have visited many food forests and would love to continue doing that. I was in Washington state a couple years ago doing some farming.

If you're into extreme gardening here are a couple posts I know you will like where I explain how to use chickens to reclaim a field so you can grow food on it and this other one of how my chickens and I created a swale garden bed.

Let me know what you think.

Oh fantastic. I'm definitely interested in those articles. I'll put some time into them and get back to you. I'm stoked to know you're into "extreme gardening". Great description.
