Interesting facts about polar bears

A polar bear is a carnivorous bear. Polar bears live in countries which ring the arctic circle, such as Canada, US, Russia, Greenland and Norway. Their skins black but they are covered in white fur. Seals make up most of the polar bears diet. They use sea ice as a platform to hunt the seals.  They have 42 teeth. Polar bears have an excellent sense of smell. There smell allows them to detect  a seal from nearly a mile away. The female polar bears weigh at least half of what the male weighs. They live on land but spend most of the time at sea.
