turtles, penguins, goose and the life we sow

Children of the sea, Children of the land, Children on the hills, And children in the sand
Chasing over happiness
I have travelled all the way to here
Until I discovered
Being happy means to eat, and grow, and sleep
Do you see?

The life we sow by Mili Project is one of happiest songs i have heard in a while. It makes you think of an easier life, not on the body but on the soul, where we still keep nature as a part of us and are not ashamed of our bodies transformation, of sunburn scars, of hands hardened by wood work, sewing or growing plants. Not to say it would be better to drop out all technology and live in the woods, what i mean is a sort of balance between what we have and what we've lost. Life isn't endless and it certainly isn't a well without a bottom. We need to start having a direction to what kind of life will truly give us happiness. For me i believe the first step is to question yourself and where are you going. I'm not talking about work. You don't live just for that. - Now, i find turtles, penguins and ducks very beautiful. These days one of my family members went to a turtle sanctuary, they are the bond between cute and small as babies but also living a terrifying life to see who gets to the water after coming out of the eggs. The one's who do become these huge awesome beings with the same old face who can live hundreds of years. Slow but there's no need to rush. Turtles have this calm state in them despite everything. Penguins are another case of the algorithm trying to get me to stay longer online by showing me lots of videos about them. Of how the males are good parents, how they think we are huge penguins whenever we set foot to Antartica, sometimes even jumping onboard human boats, curious about us. How polite they are walking in paths of snow waiting for you to step aside before continuing their journey. Their little communities, how they fish underwater, the way they walk towards you so cute it's unbearable not to go hug them, but you know you shouldn't. They literally snowboard with their bellies, have hidden small teeth to grab the fish with their nozzles, looks like a little chainsaw inside the mouth, cute and deadly. Goose is a different case, i caught myself having some affection towards them after finishing Sunrise on the Reaping. Then i went to search them out and to my amazement they can be used as guard dogs??? like, according to wikipedia: This domestication occurred about 4,000 years ago in Egypt. In captivity, these birds can live up to 50 years and are bred for a variety of reasons: as pets, for feathers for decoration and pillows, for food, and also as guard animals, as they emit shrill calls when they detect strangers in their habitat. Unbelievable. although i'm gonna ignore the food part. - The life i sow, is one where i can look more into these weird aliens we already have on Earth with us, instead of looking outside or only to ourselves. Just because. I like it. They are different therefore interesting. They mean exactly what they do.
