These guys seem to really like smiling for the camera.
I said this last time, and I'll say it again: While I may be "friends" with these guys and even hold a wild one, they are nothing to mess with can cause serious injury if they choose to bite you. What you see me do is just that, me doing something. There is no need to ever mimic my antics or try to interact with wild animals in these ways.
The Opossum is the most common marsupial in the Western Hemisphere. I share quite a bit about it in the video below, but forgot to mention that they also eat a lot of ticks, which is a good thing. Also, if you ever wondered what they sounded like, it "growls" a few times in the video. If you want to see more photos of this one, click here.

This guy really does look vicious! Teeth look pretty white though. Must have seen a dentist recently. Needs a manicure though. Soon we need to call you the Sir David Attenborough of Steemit! (It's a compliment by the way)
That is possibly the biggest possum I've ever seen, though one I saw crossing the street in my neighborhood (with a big abcess-looking growth on its jaw, unfortunately) would have been a contender.
Those things are uuuuugly =P. Mostly just raccoons here in MA...raccoons are only slightly more charming.

You have some big ones lol. I thought you had hunted and killed that creature. And I started thinking " holy sh@t , what a second is it playing dead". And sure enough it was. That takes nerves of steel to do that .They are just soo intimidating looking. I grew up in Tennessee and had them in our backyard for many years. I remember a guy in my HS named Ross Hannah ( his uncle was Jack Hannah) caught one on the side of the road. Tied it to the back of his bumper in school parking lot for everyone to see. It was hissing big time. Scary stuff lol

we dont have them here..i have not heard of them in here..omg..i got a mini heart attack after seeing those videos of reptiles..im so afraid of them..i even don't touch a picture of them..i dont know i am so afraid of them
Awesome stuff! Subbed on Youtube also. Love what you do. Animals of all types are awesome and deserve our respect and understanding if we are to keep sharing this wonderful planet with them. Too many people are scared, think animals are dirty or are just plain ignorant and this leads to many getting killed for no reason. Even a cockroach has its place in the scheme of things (actually, I really like roaches).

I can’t believe that possum was so calm for that long. He was playing dead lol. We are covered up in possums in Alabama and I believe that is what is eating my chicken eggs and got one of my hens. They can be ferocious I would not want to pick him up.
Not all bites are venomous but all bites can be a event of serious infections because of what they eat....

They are all wild.
Poor opossum and I say that whenever I see them, no reflection on you or your activities, which I support. Imagine being a giant, sickly rat all your days. You have some great snake and lizard activity going on there. Do these things find you or do you find them? While the pygmy rattlesnake is beautiful I'm most impressed by the variety of non-poisonous snakes you have on hand.
His teeth are totally sharp :O :O . a bite from him can earn you a spot at heaven xD

That's a freaky looking beast! We have possums in Australia, but they're not so vicious looking!
