Community Support Apps

After doing some research I realised that apps which offer community interactive support such as 'talklife', are beneficial to women over men because men tend to avoid supporting other men, but go for a vulnerable female expecting something out of them. I conducted an experiment as a female in crisis, and a male in crisis, and the female had 80 responses in comparison to the man which had 12, both accounts and messages posted at the same time on the same field and tags. That's why online apps where communities interact about mental health issues do not work and why people should always be referred to local professionals in my opinion.
