Nice cap to match the handsome face. Ice fishing is definitely harder than the conventional way because of the extreme weather and the thick ice floor. All the catch are worth the efforts.

You would have been proud of me. I did some ice fishing for lake trout myself last week in my wedswalk post https://steemit.com/hive-114105/@zekepickleman/wednesdaywalk-in-a-winter-wonderland

Much smaller scale with less mountainous grandeur but magical experience nonetheless. I pulled up the biggest trout of the day but it was only a few pounds so we put it back.

If I loved having my face online in video, I would be trying to emulate your awesome vlog and personality from up in the great white north. Another great experience for me and I am glad I followed you so many years ago.
