The Swiss police explained that someone was injured in the Apple store the day we passed, and the store was evacuated for security reasons.
According to police reports, a technician who wanted to remove an overheating battery from an iPhone that came in for a discounted battery replacement was hurt. In a short time, customers and employees in the underfloor shop were taken out in police custody.
Experienced employees working in Apple stores have turned out quartz sand on the overheated battery, so the smoke is under control.
After the incident, seven people received medical treatment, but fortunately no one was hospitalized. Experts are investigating the technical reasons that led to it.
