Last time we wrote about our aquarium was over two years ago in A New World in Perfect Harmony. Those days are gone, this post is just a memory bank for us as we sold the aquarium. Our goal is to move to a house, meaning we will have much more space and the aquarium was more suitable for an apartment or office.

The aquarium sits in front of our mask wall, these are just some of the masks collected on our travels-more on that to come! You can see the auto feeder on the top of the aquarium, meaning this photo was taken when we were headed on another adventure. Auto-feeders and cats don't mix so the cats were at their grandma's house at the time.

When it's dark it's always more dramatic. In our next place, we will definitely put more thought into where the masks are. This was a temporary residence so we winged it.

Night mode is also cool, although the tank was always on a timer so it required some manual effort. Flicking a couple of switches makes it look extra funky when guests would come over or we were in the mood for moonlighting.

You can see the frog, one day it went missing. We suspect the cat although no trace was ever found.

There was a period of time when it was just an aqua garden. Aquariums are a cycle of life and death, the plants seem to live forever despite constant trimming.

Without the creatures, we got lazy and didn't bother cleaning it or changing the water as often.

We eventually restocked with some cherry shrimp and little fish. The shrimp got sucked into the back and/or died in the front. They didn't last very long. It could have been the flow of the fountain, the stress from the fish, or pretty much anything.

The aquarium was sold a few months after this photo was taken. The five little fish and the snail were still alive. One day we hope to get something much larger than a five-gallon tank.
What a cool looking piece! I bet you get a lot of comments on that, from your visits! 🤗
Thanks for sure, the rest of our place is more mundane, some say it looks like a hotel
