A research team at the "Vision for Social Studies" Center conducted a field survey on the Kingdom's regions to monitor the most prominent problems affecting Saudi women. The sample size was 2576 Saudi women. The results recommended that unemployment and insomnia are the most alarming among Saudi women. Saudi Arabia.
The research team pointed out that there are 61 problems that are among the most important problems and problems of Saudi women from the point of view of the survey sample. Through the percentages, the research team in the center identified the top fifteen problems in Saudi women topped by unemployment and spinsterhood, which are the most serious problems affecting society, especially females.
The problem of unemployment ranked first with 24.6%, followed by celibacy with 18.7%, followed by overdress in the third rank (7.4%), and the fourth rank was the problem of women's rights (not to inherit), ill-treatment in government departments ,difficulty in obtaining maintenance By (6.8%) ,the problem of spread of ( emo ) phenomenon came in the sixth ranking by 5.3% , the problem of westernization was influenced by Western culture in the seventh ranking of problems of Saudi women by 5.2%, followed by the problem of failure in raising children and dependence on maids in the eighth rank by 4.4%.
The problem of domestic violence and mistreatment of husbands and wives in the ninth place was 4.3%, followed by the deterioration of women's ranking (3.6%), while the problem of mixing, the problem of not allowing women to drive the ranking (2.4% , The third problem was the need to have a husband to review the government departments by (2.2%). Finally, the problem of the negative effects of domestic workers (driver) And the maid) ranked the fifteenth of the problems of Saudi women by (1.5%).
The research team recommended to the Vision Center the necessity of concerted government efforts and charitable organizations to participate in solving the problems of Saudi women especially the problem of unemployment, spinsterhood, divorce, because these problems have negative effects on the individual and society and the development of a community based strategy based on scientific grounds to solve these problems with the participation of all concerned parties So that each side plays an appropriate role for the solution
He stressed the importance of organizing more seminars, conferences, workshops and lectures related to these problems and raising awareness of the need to address them and drew the attention of community leaders from the executive, legislative and civil causes of the most important problems followed by their specialties, helping them to focus their efforts in solving the first problems of interest.
