Today, we will start with the first one, the common tire! Let's see if the common tire can become fast enough to compete with the higher rarity tire ? 😏
Based on the moonkart stats spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D2pspkqvfs6pn1lzI9iOyyWcTftdfpKBSWhNXEjTOSE/edit?gid=445032180#gid=445032180 , the common engine is started with 27 handling points, and can be upgraded into 10th level with each upgrade is adding 2 handling points addition. Not just the handling, tire also give speed and acceleration points. Started with 9.0 speed and 2.1 acceleration, each upgrade will improve them by 0.1 points, so the max speed given is at 9.9 points and acceleration is at 3 points.
If we compare this common tire with the rare tire, the 4th level can beat the 1st level rare tire in the term of handle points, 5th level can beat the 2nd lv rare, and the max level common tire can compete with the 5th level of rare tire in term of handle points. But, in term of speed, max level common tire can't even beat the 1st level of the rare tire.
Compared to the epic tire, the common tire can't compete at all ! There is a big gap here for the epic tire from the common one. And since the common tire can't beat the epic tire, of course it can't beat the legendary tire as well.
Okay, now let's see how much it cost on the market. 👀
If we take a look at the official market on https://arcadecolony.com/mkmarket, the regular common tire is available at $0.1, and for the gold foil, it's available at $1.29.
It's interesting because 1 bcx of gold foil is worth 40 regular foil cards, so if you want the 3rd level, better get the gold foil. But if you want the higher level, better re calculating, because the calculation is quite different.
