I Spot Something Blue

Check out the watercolor version of the following illustration here. After doing this one from the Kurtake colors, I thought it would be a good idea to test the same illustration from the Chelpark Ink to understand how it would interact with the Cold Pressed Watercolor paper.

I had presumed that it would be pretty much similar to watercolors as they have the required looseness in them. But to my surprise the ink, if left for more than 2 seconds on the paper, leaves a stain on it. So in order to make any illustration by ink, it needs really fast strokes to avoid any unwanted marks. I have a couple of visible ones in the illustration too, which couldn't be fixed no matter what I did. Over all, a goo learning point and test illustration for the day :)
