I was underneath a huge flock (literally thousands) of geese once when they came circling down to land and it felt kind of like this - looking up at the sky filled with birds. Very cool! This is almost a little like those optical illusions. My eye keeps being drawn from the outside to the middle, and back to the outside again.
There is just so much movement on the outside, so much chaos that you can actually feel a sense of calm as you look towards the middle again.
Fantastic... you clearly achieved what you set out to do then! :) I've not heard of the hatching method before. Is that something to do with the types of pen strikes you used?
Ya! You should definitely check out different methods of sketching like stippling, cross hatching and so much more 😊 Also, different mediums for exploring! For this particular sketch I used a "Parker" fountain pen :)

The longer I look at it, the more crowded and denser it starts looking. Looks good :) What kind of book have you used here?
