Are you looking for a good solution for keeping track of your work, your thoughts, your technique and priorities? And even so... How to organize yourself when you have too much shit in your mind?
The answer is actually pretty cheap and effortless!
It is pretty simple... you just need a bunch of sticky notes, a pen and a wall!
See... you can organize your priorities and work all around the place with this method. It is a great way to track what have been done and what has to be done.
Not to say that in the case of an artist with a not-so-gifted memory like myself it is pretty useful to keep also a track in the different techniques used and a step by step of how to achieve that precious and beautiful result. Which honestly, sometimes we just miss it because of lack of concentration or focus on the right path/way of doing.
I literally have sticky notes everywhere.
Sometimes I consider that putting sticky notes over the wall is not enough and so I put them over my computer or at one side of it. So next time I open my laptop I see the important stuff on the super-duper-priority stage, I just find it at one side of my workstation or even on my workstation.
When you have to make a decision about how to keep your ideas and tasks, write them down. Don't hold them on your mind, because you will most likely lost them. Life is full of distractions.

i think i should totally start doing this. i just tend to forget ideas if i dont write it down
A great method of organization that I have attempted to employ many times, but found my cats will often misplace my notes (even from the walls) because everything is a toy. I have turned to digital sticky notes and onenote. They have not managed to play with those yet. :)
