Searching for beauty #1 - Beautiful Chess Boards

Hello Steem People :)

So, Yesterday i was in a beautiful museum in a beautiful town in Portugal named Viseu. Viseu is the second biggest city in the central of Portugal, second only to Coimbra, the biggest city in the area.

The museum was filled with beautiful art as you can see for yourself, but that's actually no the reason iv'e decided to write that post. Iv'e decided to write that post because of a special display of beautiful, rare and all hand made chess boards. As a chess player (amateur, but still lol) my self i found that display beautiful and exciting, and iv'e decided to show you what i thought was the most beautiful ones.

Beautiful Smurfs Chess Board
This piece was hand made and painted (the players and the board itself). To my opinion something like that would be perfect as a gift to a child. Something like that will turn the game of chess into something much lighter and funnier

Fantasy Chess Board
First of all let me apologize for the quality of the picture. I accidentally erased the good version of that picture and only noticed after i left, but i still think it is beautiful enough to show you guys. This board was inspired by the fantasy world, with beautiful dragons as the players, and the board itself designed as a battle field with the castles in the corners.

Caribbean Style Chess Board
In this beautiful piece you can see the pirates which was usually common to find in the Caribbean area. Here you can see segnificent difference in the size of the players themselves, which of curse comes to help to remember the specific part of every soldier on the board.

France Vs. England Chess Board
France and England had their fair share of wars along the years, and i think this board does an amazing work with the details of the work that was made on the pieces. Capture the eye and a beautiful and part of history. What else can i ask for? :)

Unfortunately there was no names of artists on the boards themselves, so i can't give the credit that they are so much deserve to get. Hope you liked what you saw. if you did make sure to follow because there is many more good stuff on the way :)
