I really like to paint oil paintings. I have a great passion for oil paintings. I even paint portraits with oil. This material suits me so. Oil is my element. Β Β

Yes, I agree oil paintings require a lot of time and work. But if you understand the technique of writing oil paintings, then you no longer want to switch to watercolor. I was so carried away with oil paints that I even paint portraits by them, most often on technique - a dry brush.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β

I like the theme of the shapr, black metal superimposed against the natural skyline. Although I am not quite sure what some of those objects are, maybe the point is that the audience DOESN'T have to KNOW what they are, but instead just be able to get the SENSE of what they are - that is : cold, metalic objects. Another good one ...

I'm always amazed to see the whole process of a painting or drawing. It always start like a mess and then suddenly the image is coming out like by magic. Well, but with me it starts with a mess and ends up with ... a mess lol
I totally agree about oil painting vs water colors. What I β€οΈ about oil painting is the ability to come back to it the next day (or next week) add a little linseed oil, and keep on working on it. PLUS... I love the smell too! π Beautiful painting!
