There is consistently one constant in our lives and that is constant change. As you may have realized, change is not always for the better, but often for the worse. It can make you sad, depressed, feeling worthless...change will challenge you, in one way or the other.
The universe is materialized evolution and those moments of challenge and hardship are an elemental aspect of the whole construct. They are needed to make the entire system grow, becoming more refined and subtly more nuanced over time.
Once you surrender yourself to the fact that life is defined by constant change, which can challenge you down to the core, you have realized the power of the present moment. If you give in to the things happening to you, with a clear mind and without fear, they will become your power, not your burden.
We have to awaken the being inside of us which is ready for the challenges, which is hungry for them, because it knows that they are food for growth. Sometimes bitter like psychedelic drugs...but they will make you see.
The beauty beyond good and bad... the universal path.

I made this piece while the mom of my wife was in hospital for a serious surgery. The only way I could help her, was sending my love through this painting. For me it is about the trust that everything will find its way... how it is supposed to be. It symbolizes the love for the game of the universe.
