I was messing around on Microsoft paint and was thinking of how awesome it was to watch Bob Ross when I was growing up. I was always fond of how he would positively personify just about everything. Plus I thought it was cool that he had a squirrel for a pet! Bob Ross trivia below!
Bob Ross Fun Fact #1: After leaving the Air Force, Bob Ross was tight on cash and decided he could save money by getting his hair permed. He ended up hating the perm but kept it because it had become an iconic part of his art performance career.
Bob Ross Fun Fact #2: Bob Ross ended up painting over 30,000 painting in his lifetime! Normally he would paint three copies of each painting per episode. One for reference before the show, one during, and one after that they photographed step-by-step for his How-to books.
Bob Ross Fun Fact #3: Bob Ross lost a finger to a woodworking accident when he was younger. Most people don't know this as he kept it well hidden, by using the affected hand to hold his palette
