After not looking at Hive for three months, for some reason I just came back and had a quick look at my timeline. There is quite a bit of interesting looking content.
Yes, Bastyon is having a full on bot war, and Blurt has been having all sorts of bullshit going down this week. In some ways I do miss Hive, not least for the excellent PeakD front end - this was a platform with so much potential, but I don't miss being constantly downvoted.
So as a quick experiment, I'll just post a couple of my new pictures, and see if they get downvoted. Just curious!
Good to see you popping in @frot - some of us miss your content, yet completely understand why you chose to spend your time more advantageously away from the platform - congratulations on your success'.
Though I spend less time here, for personal reasons, I've not given up on it as a potential more worthwhile blogging platform for all members in general... rather than a relative handful of well-placed malevolent Cartel members...😏
Your visual artwork and sarcastic wit added value and interest to the platform, even while under relentless attack by particular club members of dubious character.

I hardly ever post these days, just visit mostly to manually curate and little else. I'm not much of a "social butterfly", like I was in younger days. Yet, I understand the draw social media has upon others.
It's not a true 'test' to decline rewards of... 'am I going to be downvoted'. I always thought you had a decent sense of humour and that your political views may have landed you in trouble here.
I have seen the shit going on in Blurt, and I'm not saying 'we told you so'. I see many of the ex-Hiver's who moved over and were downvoted now desperately powering down and trying to escape.

I did well on Hive - I bought 250k for 15 cents and sold them for 90 cents, so although I took a spanking on Vybrainium and lost a few grand on that, it wasn't a biggie - same with Blurt, I didn't go big, and I am probably less than 1k down on that right now so no panic.
But I earned nothing on Hive for about a year before I quit and psychologically that is discouraging.
I don't do this for the money, I do far better trading real cryptos, I just want some blog interaction - I don't think I'll ever really come back to Hive, but I'm curious as to why all these blockchain platforms turn to shit?

I never bought Blurt as an investment, and I always aim to buy low and sell high so wouldn't sell it now. If things work out I think it will go up anyway, and if not I'll write that remaining $500 off.
My payouts on Blurt were always better than Hive or Steemit so part of my 65k of Blurt was from posts.
What I'm looking for is a platform that is bomb proof censorship resistant, and I pick Bastyon as potentially the strongest in that regard.
Each attack makes it stronger, and it is getting hit hard right now.
I'm not posting much on there yet but long term I'm betting on it.

The catch with posting art or anything else on Hive is that my transgender friend @azircon will downvote it whether or not the rewards are on and in the unlikely event that a bunch of people upvoted it he has an entire cabal controlled curation trail (CCCT) to downvote it to zero if needed.

Wellington NZ is one of the most injected and muzzled places in the world, and so many of the believers are sick that everything is barely functioning. So that is pretty much all I do notice. They are spraying chemtrails every day and the rain is relentless.

Beautiful colors and content.. I am clueless to the bot wars on Bastyon. Hear a lot of talk about bots there, some suggesting my posts are bots when I use memes with little description. I'm having fun there and picking up new info at the same time.
Chem trails off the chart here over Long Island. They are so brazen plastering the sky on weekends and 2 recent holidays when more people are outside. I still can't get through to people around me.. Even the unvaxxed are clueless of the depth of the situation.

Bastyon confuses me totally, but they are the platform that I think really has a chance of being uncensored in the long term.
The bots are an attempt to trash the platform, hundreds of fake accounts posting memes and then upvoting them, while other also possibly fake accounts downvote everyone who posts memes in an attempt to create ill will and drive away users - sounds a bit like Hive doesn't it? - it's another psyop I suspect but it shows the deep state want to screw with Bastyon.
I think they are smart enough to fix this problem, but slow moving enough that it might take months!
Thanks 4 filling me in on how the bots disrupt things.. Guess the bots up vote each other. We may only have a few months, trying to enjoy the freedom we now have.

Funnily enough someone was recently telling me they'd been dabbling over on Blurt and decided it wasn't for them. I couldn't get on with Bastion. Some rather disturbed people there and it didn't load well for me anyway.
Slobber's probably got a point that Splinterlands may be the main thing keeping people on Hive at the moment, especially with the prices bombing. Which reminds me, if you pop over to livinguktaiwan's or shanibeer's, you'll see a snap of him in real life. Not what I expected from seeing his avatar all these years. 😆

Blurt seems to have a different set of problems to Hive, the only platform I'm on that is working as intended is Gab which is an anything goes, shred the libtards, sort of Twitter replacement. Good for a laugh but not for blogging.
