Hi steemians:
Today I would like to share with you guys the painting, a small and beautiful lone kingfisher. They are so pretty, aren't they? Every animal has its own ability to live in nature. Owing to its eyes can quickly adjust the angle of view contrast caused by light under the water after they jump into the water. So they have a strong ability to catch fish. Small as it is, it looks ferocious when it catches fish.

And they often perch on the trees, rocks, rivers and lakes lonely instead of liking other animals who appears in pairs. In this painting, it is perching on a branch and attentively staring at the surface of the water.. and waiting for .....

翠鸟，羽毛颜色非常鲜艳，性情孤独，经常独来独往的栖息在小河，湖边，岩石或者树枝上。大自然中每种动物都有自己独特的生存本领。由于翠鸟的眼睛在进入水里后，能迅速的调整水中的光线造成的视角反差，因此捕鱼的本领特别强。你别看它娇小貌美，捕捉食物的时候真的很凶猛呢。

夏日里一个温暖的午后，一只孤独的小翠鸟，正在荷塘上方聚精会神的注视着水面。。

It is a very calming painting, for some reason. We get a lot of Kingfishers in New Zealand & i love watching them, beautiful birds!
