the quality of being fair and truthful.
All I have is my word and my time. Am I honest in all things? Sometimes I need to hide my opinion when it might harm another - after all - my taste is not always there's.
But, do I cheat?
Do I break promises?
Do I lie to get out of responsibilities?
Do I steal time at work?
Am I honest when given the wrong change in a store?
Do I gossip?
Do I advertise myself as more than I am capable of?
Do I allow myself to think thoughts that are not true?
Is it really important to be honest? Do my individual actions really effect the world?
The Principle of Cause and Effect suggests yes. Is not being dishonest a form of Theft? Theft being a Natural Law Violation. And not so much because of all that - but because I personally do not want to pay the consequences of a violation of Natural Law. I have found when I live within Natural Law, I am safe and protected - even from "man's" law and their effects. Right is Might. I rise above all of it. I attract what I need and I am happy and free.
