So, another day, another steps for my project:)

Damn, seems like weather in this city doesn't want me to work. It was raining all night, and at the moment it's still quite cold, and actually I really enjoy such weather, despite the fact that I prefer to enjoy it in bed with good book and a cup of tea, and today I planned to finish my fantasy portrait drawing class and get to other tasks. Well-well, I'll manage:)
12:00 am
Morning coffee makes miracles (but not today). So I decided to start with easy stuff. I always create a new planner when I'm up to new big project, so it's my first task for today - customizing for my comic book. Yesterday I fixed my printer, today I made these (below) cute bookmarks and printed them. Now I will add them to my planner:
I really feel like making these cute things helps me to wove forward, so my time I invest into creating a planner is never wasted:)
I used to work using Yana Frank system 45/15, when you settle a timer and work for 45 minutes, than switch to something else for 15, than 45 minutes of work again. But recently I changed my paradigm. I found out that actually I need TIME, and this is a term that has no boundaries. I need to feel all time in the world in order to be productive, and if I feel limited in time I will be less productive, and as a result make less progress. While if I don't fix on time - I have great results and actually work mush faster!
Tricky, right? But seems like that's what works for me. So I relaxed, and now I just write a plan for day that only includes points that I need to do, not time limits for them.
Other thing I found out about myself - I don't need this "evening time to relax. I'll better relax in the middle of my working process and get back to work, and will use evening time for work as well.
Now forward to making portrait drawing classes.

Hey, how about some fun?
I said in previous post that my dog has a paw issue at the moment, but she still enjoys looking what I'm doing all day long, so she has a bed right next to my work desk. Sometimes she forgets that I can see and hear her, and starts communicating to sounds from the street lol:)

Дуже рада, що я повернувшись на цей проект, знайшла вас. Ви мене надихали кілька років тому на стімі своєю постійністю в роботі.
Я підросла, тоді тільки починала вчитись малювати, зараз вже шукаю напрямки для використання своїх вмінь.
І також хочу створити свій мальопис, хоча тільки спробувала, як подумала, що поки що потрібно взятись за коротші і простіші завдання.
У мене в планах мальопис для жінок, бо на ринку непогано представлені чоловічі, для хлопчика, для дівчинки, а щось про кохання... руки в більшості авторів ще не доходять. Ну і я вирішила взяти фентезійну Київську Русь, бо фентезі найкраще туди лягає, на дохристиянську культуру. Витягти на світ близькість печенігів і русичів, взаємні відносини, торгівлю тощо. Показати тюркську частину нашої спадщини. Поки цікаво це. Ну і це цілком в світових трендах - різноманітність культур, толерантність...
Сюжет для книги вже написаний, але діло за малим... почати і скінчити :)
Бажаю вам успіхів і з задоволенням буду слідкувати за ними.

Но ваша идея мне очень нравится, надеюсь увидеть воплощение:)
Так, можливо, жіночі комікси існують, але те, що представлено в українській адаптації поки що я не знайшла. Хоча ринок розвивається і ще прийдуть, я сподіваюсь. Я якось італійською мовою шукала комікси, то інтернет мені взагалі видав еротичні серії. Тож я не настільки в темі, але дуже цікавлюсь.
А, ну в адаптациях я не сильна, люблю оригиналы))

I find I'm pretty useless at working to time limits as well so these days I have a loose schedule (and then only because I need to work around other people otherwise I'd just be doing whatever I feel like at the time) with buffer hours around it because I know sometimes I get into a mood and will run overtime XD
