Thank you ! Thank you!
I was having some fun with the famous part, but you know, they can find a balled up napkin with an ink blot on it and if it can be attributed to one of the masters, it's worth more than gold.
The art galleries will be all atither (yes I made that word up) .... once I am a goner. I'm having a premonition about that. 🤣
I read a story about a man that bought a house or a barn or something and there were some dumpsters there. They looked like "walk-in" things to me, but in them were a massive amount of art, some huge, some dirty, some wrapped. He researched and found that they were painted by a man named Francis Hines and if I remember correctly, the man had a profession in his life or maybe an engineer of some sort and when he retired, he painted and painted and painted and never did anything with the but stack them in a barn! So the finder, once he knew who painted them, contacted that man's family and they told him to keep them! (For REAL!!).... and he researched and found some folks that knew what they were doing in the art world and has sold them for a teetotal fortune! It was a fun story.
My disclaimer: I may have some details wrong in that story, it has been quite a while since I read it.
I am close to being done with the kitchen. I am on one of my currently famous breaks. I work till I think I can't like it anymore, then I take a break and go back fresh. I didn't used to be that way. I should have been done hours ago. LOL ! I can only face a little at a time.
Thanks for stopping in. I truly appreciate it.
And I really enjoyed your little story, lovely one! Serves that family right for turning their noses up at his art. Imagine the treasures some people discard after people pass on!
It's also terribly sad that so many artists only get recognition after they die!
I love it😅
