Hey Steemit fam! I am coming at you with another step by step process. Been a while since I posted one, and I am happy I got this beauty documented. I literally signed it couple hours ago. Hope you like it!
This dragonfly painting is my second painting with Dragonfly as its central theme.
The first one looked like this

The first one same as this second one were commissions for a client. The first one above is called EVOLUTION and the second one here does not have a name yet, but I will tell you something that you might not have noticed at first glance and which is totally related to the spiritual meaning of Dragonfly.
But first, let's see how I created this piece step by step:

Ok now that you saw how I created it (easy right?) I can tell you the dragonfly meaning.
Dragonfly is the spiritual totem of transformation. It lives, for years, as a successful predator underwater, in larvae form. It has got some really good life and no reason for change. But at some point it inexplicably climbs out of the water, feels the air and sunrays for the first time and and transforms into an entirely new creature: dragonfly. it uses the hydraulic power of the remainder of water in its old body to roll out the new body, spread its wings and fly into a new life. That is what transformation looks like, and we can do it too!
Now the second story I'd love to share is the hidden message in this painting (besides the transformation one).
There are four numbers on the 4 underwater pillars in this painting: In latin alphabet: 1 - 2 - 63 - 64 . Which, in Chinese I-tching and the wisdom of Gene Keys stand for the four building pillars of the Universe = siddhis of BEAUTY , UNITY, TRUTH , ILLUMINATION. Yay!
