A watercolour from 1999 โ Heaton Park Folly. This is in Heaton Park, Manchester,England .
It is the largest Municipal Park in Europe, spread out over 600 acres.
It also includes the grounds of a Grade I listed neoclassical 18th century country house and gardens... Heaton Hall. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

You have some great work. I don't do many portraits of people. Animals are more my thing, or nature...or whatever I feel. I used to draw charcoal portraits a long while back for people who asked, but I found them too "realistic" ..like photos , I now like to do more imaginative work.
Paint only what you like !! <3
i Love your work :D
Thank you so much <3
That's a beautiful park. 600 acres is a lot of park to enjoy:)
It's huge, concerts are held there, and theatrical plays, plus many other festivals and events. Also in the 1980's, Pope John Paul II went to Heaton Park and thousands of people...not only Christians made their way there during the night to secure a place near to the place where he would speak. I along with my parents all trekked there.
That was when I lived in UK. I moved to Ireland in 90s.
Thanks for sharing... Love it.
Thank you.
