There have NEVER been small boobies at the top of Steemit. Only big boobies and pouty-girl faces and the same 10 whales. Over. and Over. And Over. I never had a chance with my brilliant music and photography. This place is such a circlejerk. Bloggers like me only had a chance in the very beginning. So happy to be powering down.
Yep, only the same 10 whales. Oh, you know, except for these two articles that are trending right now from non-whales, one of whom is brand-new here:

While you may have a point, instead of powering down, why not take an initiative like this into account. There is room for all types of artists here even though as you have said "sex sells." But Kate is doing something fun and unique. Not every article that is trending has big boobs. I'd be happy to brainstorm on a project like this.
Take that seriously and you could be sitting on a goldmine whether your "breasteses" are big or small!
But if you choose to power down, that is your right.
But I refuse to believe that there is no way for non beautiful people (like me) not to be able to be successful here.
Play to your strengths and hope you change your mind :) I for one enjoy your content and have just followed you.
I didn't upvote this post, but this @katecloud's life and art. Sorry, it is disheartening to but there are many breakout stories that happen all the time. There are people like @dragonslayer109 who can help promote you if you are kind. If people like you leave then the community, then will be a circle jerk to you forever. I see this community as diverse and engaging. It is easy to get caught up in the rewards and have it ruin your experience. Posts like these get upvoted because she has talent, and you can see that she has 175 followers and multiple good posts. This is what I call, "the Steem train effect" that draws in the whale bot votes, who by the way I don't even see on this post. That mean people enjoyed this content and people have every right to. Finally, these aren't intentionally sexualized photos. The top one is from Maxim, which is highly relevant to the post, there is one that feels playful describing the mood of her job and the rest seem artistic. So please be open minded and maybe stop hanging out on the trending page so often.
Don't be so bitter...get a boob job and meet some whales lol

I love your work Kate! I hope someday you will allow me to purchase art directly from you in Steem Dollars + Shipping. The reputation system should allow people to be kept accountable for high dollar items like artwork (I would pay you before you sent anything).
I don't have the funds at the moment, but you should offer this service as I believe you have a talent that is incredibly unique and want you to see continued success.

My friend Kayla who is a model has been involved in quite a few of their shows in Buffalo, but I know it is in many places throughout the US (possibly elsewhere).
She's absolutely gorgeous! And I will share any Steem Dollars I receive from her modeling pictures with her.

my wood panels don't complain no matter how rough I am with them when I paint...atleast they haven't yet :)

Nahhh, you'd be fine...this was my first time and it was a great experience. I say just go for it, find a model or a friend, maybe warn them of your concerns. Its amazing how many people have approached me since this and want to be painted.
Definitely going to try it! I think it would be beautiful to paint on a live canvas and bring their personality be part of the painting...thanks for the encouragement 😊

Very cool work. I'm seeing a lot of models and photographers delving into body painting themes over the last year or so, but I haven't had much opportunity for that, other than this one project 4 years ago. I'll have to dig out those shots and post them up on here.
