وينبغى لطالب العلم أن يختار من كل علم أحسنه وما يحتاج إليه فى الحال, ثم ما يحتاج
For the student, in the matter of science should choose which is the best and needed in his agmanya life at that time, then that for the time to come.
ويقدم علم التوحيد والمعرفة ويعرف الله تعالى بالدليل, فإن إيمان المقلد وإن كان صحيحا عندنا لكن يكون آثما بترك الإستدلال

ويختار العتيق دون المحدثات, قالوا: عليكم بالعتيق وإياكم بالمحدثات, وإياك أن تشتغل بهذا الجدال الذى ظهر بعد انقراض الأكابر من العلماء, فإنه يبعد عن الفقه ويضيع العمر ويورث الوحشة والعداوة, وهو من أشراط الساعة وارتفاع العلم والفقه, كذا ورد فى الحديث
Should also memiluh ilmi-science the old, not new born. Many scholars say: "Teach ancient science, not just existing." Watch out, do not get affected by the argument that flourishes after the end of a large ualama, because it leads to keep students from recognizing fiqh, just spend ages with no use, -pati / savage and avid hostile. And that includes the signs of doom will come and the disappearance of fiqh and other knowledge, so according to hadith.
