Hello my friends! I would like to show you one of my works about the shoe mend. I like this work because you should approach it with creativity. Today I will tell you how to change a broken heel.
First you should do is to demount a broken heel.
The second is to prepare a new rubber heel. You should make the heel rough and also the part of the sole where the heel will be glued.
The third thing is to smear with glue ( I use polyurethane, I like it but you can use also rubber one) the heel and that part of the sole you had prepared. You should leave it for 20-40 minutes, then smear it for the second time and leave for 20 minutes.
The fourth is to heat areas we want to smear with glue. You should use for it an industial dryer. As a variant I use for these aims an oven. You should firmly press the areas to each other.
The fifth is to сut off excess rubber of the heel. Then you should grind the heel on the tool-machine.
The sixth thing you should do is to polish the area of the heel and to infix it either with screws or nails. I use such a device. It is very convenient if you need to hammer a nail where is difficult to get some areas.
The seventh thing you should do is to smear the heel with some cream. Your shoes are ready to serve you more than season now.
