Today I woke up quite early. When many people were still asleep, I heard the sound of birds from my backyard area. We live in a suburb, and we could see birds. Able to hear the sound of birds is indeed a privilege, and for those living in the city or high rise condominium might not have this kind of luxury.
To me, birds are attractive and I like seeing birds flying or walking on a ground. Getting to know the characteristics of birds can help to enrich our life.
My wife and me started to know about birds through a friend who visited us years ago. She came to visit Sabah specially for bird watching. She is from Taiwan and really has a keen interest watching birds. She could quietly be at a place watching birds. During her stay at our home, she told us the some characteristics of birds. Through her influence, I became more aware of the presence of birds. It’s good to hear the sound of birds.
The estimated ratio between birds and human beings is fifteen to one. In spite of the huge number of birds, they can survive quite naturally. Comparatively, many men and women tend to be anxious about their livelihood. Perhaps, we can reflect as we look at birds. Jesus did mention birds as he pointed out important life lessons:
“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
Beside that, it is more easily to hear and see birds in the early morning. When the sun appears and becomes warmer, it is less likely to see many birds. And there is a saying, “The early bird gets worms." This saying does remind us to get up early and not to waste time. Just as the plan for a day lies in the morning, we must cherish our time and plan to live a meaningful life.
Birds are always beautiful from the nature, and its flying in the sky is one of the greatest skill from the animals, have a nice day with few !PIZZA.
