Anonymous Bites Back Assange Special with journalist Juan Passarelli

in #assange3 years ago

We just finished with a new Anonymous Bites Back Special about the Julian Assange case. Tonight we had the experienced journalist Juan Passarelli on air with us. Originally from Guatamala, Juan has been covering the case since the early days. He is a friend of Julian and worked closely with Wikileaks.

He has worked for the BBC, Global Post, and AFP among others. His investigations have led him to many underreported corners of the world. From the murky underworld of South Africa's sex trade to the bloody neighborhoods of El Salvador's street gangs.
Juan is Co founder of Guerrilla Pictures and also works on his own news agency called Features TV.

Together we discuss about his personal experiences, being targeted by the intelligence agencies like UC Global. We also talk about (online) censorship and the effect it has on the independent media. Furthermore, the Assange case, one of the most important cases in regards to press freedom in modern history, is the main subject of this episode.

He promised he would return again when his agenda wasn't completely filled up with other important stuff.
All in all an episode that will be worth your time. So go check it out!
