A Day Without Steemit is Incomplete

Voila Steemians!
I am glad to say that, "I'M BACK ON TRACK!" ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
Yes it is, I'm back to the most amazing platform.

"I have been inactive in posting articles on the platform."

It has been a month since my last post. And with all honesty, I regret for not sharing some great articles to the platform. Though, I had been inactive in posting I didn't even missed a day visiting my feed for a quick view for new updates and new articles to read. There were a lot of bad circumstances that occurred and I'm still coping up to make a turn.

What's with the stop?

It has been a roller coaster ride, a lot of twists and turns that made my days crazy. Those occurrences also had my writing lead to a stop or pause.

Reasons

Academics came and crossed the line
  • Thesis Paper

received_1847440931973434.jpeg Our thesis book photographed by my friend, @leryam12

Yeah, you heard it right. I am on the final year of my chosen degree program and we are required to finish our thesis paper. I had to spend more hours to finish and do some revisions. Thank God, we were able to produce our book as partial requirement for our degree.

  • Engineering Exhibit

Together with my thesis mates; @hillaryaa and @leryam12

This was the most stressful event I had to conquer. The Engineering Exhibit, an event where we need to present and introduce our thesis project to the university students and faculty. Our thesis project back then wasn't ready to be presented due to software issues that we need to attend to. I only had one night to attend and troubleshoot the issue. Also during the day of the exhibit, problems kept on uprising. But in God's might, we were able to face the challenges and the event was a big success.

  • Research Forum

Enjoying the stress in whatever conditions.

I also had to prepare for our research forum in which students who were enrolled in thesis course are required to present their thesis ideas to the engineering student body. We had to finalize lots of things so that our podium presentation will be at par. And the odds were with us during the time, success was at our hands. Though we weren't able to bring home the award/s, we are still grateful on the feedbacks of our instructors about our performance.

  • Final Exams

Yeah, the other crucial part of being a student, TAKING EXAMS. How I wish this has to be minimized. I hated it when teachers had to post exams on consecutive dates, but I can't complain I'm a student after all. I had spent my nights reading important chapters and solving related problems in preparation for our final exams. I had to spend more time to understand effectively the topics being discussed. Since I am not one of those intellligent kids, I had to double my efforts in order to get excellent or good grades. But thankfully the exams I had taken, all went well. I guess, hehehehe.

My Ineffectivity as a Person

Procrastination has been my long time enemy. My efforts were always in vain when this sickness relapses. I admit it I had some spare time like 2 or 3 hours in maximum but I tend to spend it by sitting and do some unnecessary things like watching TV or just listening to music. Oh, those wasted time. I am still on the verge of fighting against this illness I had.

  • Laptop's Dead

Recently last week, I planned to post a new article. I had all things sorted out and prepared it for publish. Unexpectedly, after 4 years of service, my sister's laptop (which I am using daily for my thesis paper) gave up and rested from its obligations. All I had encoded there weren't retrieved and backed up. I haven't even written my entry on a paper. I had tried to checked it on my own on what could be the reason why it stopped working. I know I have a degree on electronics but I don't trust myself in repairing electronic devices due to some history that I tried to tweak in my smartphone and it went amok and doesn't function as it is supposed to. What I did is that, I just checked if there could be wrong with the battery and the power switching IC of the power circuit of the laptop. I just did a plain observation on its behavior. Then my papa contacted our friend, a computer specialist, to do some diagnosis and at this moment we are still looking for funds for it to be repaired.

  • Intermittent Signal

Well, this has been my problem since we applied from our local internet provider but it keeps on worsening everyday. There were times I had a slow connection and times that I totally do not have connection. But we still kept on buying this service due to the availability and hassle-free installation. I think I need to get used to this because my homeland has the worst internet service compared to other countries.

  • No Phone

It has been 3 years since I had my last smartphone. I had it tweaked due to my curiosity at that time. But I didn't learned my lesson, I had also tweaked my beother's smartphone. And as a result both phones were not functioning as it should be. Now I really learned my lesson, to study and understand first before applying to the actual device. That curiosity was totally a waste of resources. I am still saving money for me to buy a new phone and to continue my passion in blogging.

Upon those bad circumstances,

I am striving my very best to cope up and be able to continue my passion. Currently, I am using my mom's phone to post this back-on-track article and will still be using to post my new articles until the laptop's going to be fine. And I would say, I have now more time to create new artworks and articles because I am now relieved from my endevours as a student and because it is SUMMER๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒŠ.

I am excited for days to come and for the artworks I'll be sharing. Also I'm excited to join in more contests and challenges run by the members of the platform. Bare with me for posting this kind of article for I am celebrating myself from freeing to all stresses I had encountered for the past days.

Stay tuned for more updates.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

There were alot of bad circumstances that occurred and I'm still coping up to make a turn.
It should be a lot of instead of alot of.
