Hello guys, today we are going to talk about how to get followers on Steemit. This is one of the most frequently asked questions for beginners, how to gain an audience because this is the most important thing that you can have on Steamit account. People who see your posts popping up on the home screen. So how do you get people to follow you?

First of all be persistence. What I'm doing is this is very important, I am writing every single day. I am trying to write only quality posts. This is not always possible but in most of the time, it is. You don't have to invest hours in your quality post. Sometimes just a small post that you created in 30 minutes can still be a quality post. Just find a topic that is interesting. Write something about it. Style your posts. Make it look nice and cross-promote it as much as you can.

You can cross promote on Facebook on Twitter, on all your social media and make sure you share your content with other people.

Write comments on the articles that you are reading. People will often just follow you for your comments rather than because they like your posts. It will be very difficult to find your posts but it will be very easy to see your comments when you are writing on their posts. They will get a notification and they will see your comment in their reply section. And you should always respond to all the comments except when they are inappropriate or aggressive or just spam.

When you are just starting a new account. You should write an introduction post. That is very helpful to find people initially to follow you. You will not get hundreds of people following you but you can make a little bit of money. Make sure you do it well. Make sure you use "introduceyourself" as your main tag and a good thumbnail, with a good headline. A photo of yourself, of your family or something that you do for work. Just make sure that it looks nice.
These are all good things you can do to sharpen your profile. Write every day and make sure your posts transmit some kind of message. You need to be persistent and create tons of content. You need to do it to get recognition on Steemit. Don't think it can just happens overnight. It is a process and it will take time. Good luck to you all.

The problem being that I get a lot of less than admirable followers. I get spammers and slammers (really, 20 posts in a day? You spent some serious time with that, didn't you?) Urrggghhh it's like clickbait. But the solution is pretty easy. Unfollow is my friend!
