I was wondering this morning, after reading an article about the power of make up, and would love to hear your views.
The article was about this couple that fell in love and planned a wedding. The husband to be has never seen his bride to be without make up, and she was absolutely stunning !!!!!!!
Needless to say, they got married, and went on honeymoon. The morning after, the newly wed wife, went to the bathroom, and removed her make up. She proceeded to the kitchen, and made some coffee. The husband woke up and went to the kitchen to look for his wife.
In stead of finding his wife, he found a (ugly) stranger in his kitchen.
He asked the woman who she was and what she was doing in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It was his own wife.
Hence my question this morning, Is make up a form of deception, when you know in your heart of hearts, that you are really not a pretty person, but deceive everyone around you, including your life partner in making them believe you are beautiful.
I know beauty is but skin deep, but surely you have to be attracted to a person physically as well, How would this poor man make love to this woman for the rest of his life???????????????
