Dinner at the Red Ox Restaurant.
We were still on our fist day of our road trip, but the day was fast approaching it's end and we were hungry. We decided to go for dinner at the Red Ox restaurant in Upington.
The place was filled to capacity and we had to wait for space, we had some orange juice while sitting on the couch waiting to be seated.
When we finally got a table, I ordered Kalahari Draft from the tap!! We were in the Kalahari (you can read on it by clicking on the link) which is meaning "the great thirst", but this beer definitely quenched my thirst - no thirst for me anymore!!
My wife had a Steel Works which is a non-alcoholic drink.
We were having such a great time, that I completely forgot to take a photo of the food.
After dinner, we went back to the hotel for a well deserved rest, before we would continue on our journey!!

When driving up through that area one certainly needs a beer, that looks very rewarding in selection.
Enjoy your travels you really are in a dry region right now, good to see people queue for a restaurant, signs that the food must have been superb!

Loads of lovely nature up there, my brother lived near to Springbok. Following recommended places for food good decision normally.

We were on a road trip from the Pretoria to the Northern Cape and then down the West Coast and then inland and back home.
Oh that's nice. We had a roadtrip to uvongo and then to Jhb and on Sunday back to Kuruman Northern Cape. Then back to real life again.
Everything looks so good! South Africa has so many wonderful places to visit. Lovely post 🤗❤️💕
