I recently brewed a homebrew stout, if I say recently, it is some time ago, as I fermented the brew for two weeks and then bottle aged it for another 3 weeks, before it was ready for drinking.
It poured in a beautiful pitch black, with a beautiful biscuit coloured head,
I was visiting my parents, where we were having a nice braai for Sunday lunch, the fire was going nicely and the stout was a great addition to the braai and the cold winters day.
The beer left a beautiful lacing, I know I might be biased as I am the brewer, but this beer tasted great, it is not the first time I made this particular beer, but my brother and father insisted, that I brew it again, as they loved it this much.
I love it to brew my own beer, and when it tastes as good as this one, it just adds to the satisfaction of brewing.
