With everyone in lock down, I am spending a little more time around the house and enjoying my own personal beer garden.

These iris just popped out, and its good that things have slowed down as they do not stay long.

The azaleas are now in all their glory.

Many towns in North Carolina celebrate the Azaleas with a festival but not this year.

I am spending a little more time with the vegetable garden. I have yet to put most of these summer crops in the garden just yet as there is still a small risk of frost.

I think that this weekend I will get them in the ground.

This is my beer garden, the place where I sit back and enjoy a nice cold brew.

Today I am enjoying Fiddle of Gold Golden Ale by Fiddlin' Fish Brewing in Winston-Salem North Carolina.

A golden ale is usually a light bodied brew with a mild taste, but not this Fiddle of Gold.

The folks at Fiddlin' Fish decided to add some powerful hops to this golden ale which gives it a little kick.

Pours with a nice head and light carbonation. Fiddle of Gold has a clean finish with a hint of citrus and of course the HOPS.

I hope you enjoyed my little beer garden.

Beer and plants: what more could one wish for? Our lockdown includes a ban on alcohol sales because we are a nation of violent drunks so a beer would be good right now

A land full of bores, boars or is it Boers?

Haha: all of the above, I think
