Crazy Alien Eyes and Beer
My wife and I decided to go for a quick bite to eat at Mooi Tappas and Wine Bar (Mooi, means beautiful). The place looked good and they did stock some craft beers, thus this was a place to my liking!! Below you can see the beer and cider menu!! At 11.68 South African Rands to an American Dollar you can see that the Beer prices range from about $2.00 to $5.00.
I decided that an on tap CBC Lager would be great. (I actually wanted the Pilsner, but it seems the tap was empty - bummer!!)
The beer poured beautifully, just look at the great golden color and the nice white head.
The alien in me came out after tasting the first ice cold, crisp, refreshing sip!!
My eyes turned into a green haze, as the alcohol raced to my brain!! This was nice!!
Like I said we came for a bite to eat and I settled for a nice 28 day matured 300g rump steak!! Below you can see the steak with some of the garnish on-top!!
I also got some nice salad accompanying the steak, to look after my health!! Some vitamins and antioxidants thrown into the mix!! I don't know why they thought I needed it, as the beer was already packed full of all the healthy stuff, pure spring water, barley, malt and hops!!

I used to like Hansa Pilsner as a commercial beer, but these days, I like the dark Craft beers more, the Bernie's stout as in my previous post was really good!

What an appetizing steak.
I today at a friend cooked the front leg of roe deer. The first time I cooked roe deer, so the meat turned out a little dry. And yesterday for friends I cooked lamb, it turned out very tasty.
